Apartment in a historic building
(late 18th - early 19th century)
that belonged to the Righetti
family from Breno, whose
founder Giovanni, master builder
and then architect, emigrated to
Trieste in 1806, distinguishing
himself together with his sons
Giuseppe, Domenico and
Giovanni in the design and
construction of numerous
buildings in the Julian city. The
first restoration intervention
(1970s) skilfully preserved some
original elements (chestnut
beams and doors), while the
second intervention (early 2000s)
updated the kitchen and restored
the studio apartment on the
ground floor, equipping it with a
bathroom. The apartment, on the
second floor (without lift), is lit by
three windows open on the
facade of the building and
consists of two rooms, living
room, bathroom, kitchen (with
internal exposure) and annexe on
the ground floor with
independent entrance and
bathroom. The property is
enriched by a common garden in
front of the building which offers
the pleasant possibility of
outdoor lunches and dinners in
spring and summer:
